    Channel your inner Parisienne.

The opportunity to celebrate your inner Parisienne: it’s Fashion Week in the City of Love. The myth of France’s first fashion ladies will probably live on forever. After the generation of Brigitte Bardot, Catherine Deneuve, Inès de la Fressange and Jane Birkin, the new ambassadors of French chic include Jeanne Damas, Vanessa Paradis and Caroline de Maigret. The common denominator: irresistibly chic, effortlessly nonchalant. Definitely not too contrived. How to style it ?

    Styling No.1. Caroline masculin/feminin

Mini Me in cream, Mini Kinda Chic & Big Pimp up in gold

Saint-Germain-des-Prés, the elegant neighborhood on the left bank of the Seine, was the stronghold of the first generation of French feminists. This is your chance to wear your little ZOÉ LU treasure with boyish elements. It starts with over-the-knee plaid socks worn with a trapeze skirt and ends with a tuxedo look. If you wear the latter, remember a simple white T-shirt underneath and colorful statement sneakers. Less is more when playing the Lady of Saint-Germain, who moves between the galleries on Rue de Seine, the food heaven La Grande Épicerie (yes, yes, the Parisienne likes to cook and eat) and the ultra-chic École Alsacienne.

Where can you show off the look?
La Palette on Rue de Seine is a photogenic café-restaurant where the great Karl already had his regular routine. Of course, Café de Flore on Boulevard Saint-Germain, where Simone de Beauvoir held court, is still a must. Celebrity watching? 5 stars!

Best Buddy in cream, Kinda Chic & Pimp Up in gold

All in black and cream? Très, très charming. Wear a stylish bucket hat in case a breeze comes in from the water. After all, you’re in the 1st arrondissement, between the bookstalls along the Seine and the Louvre. If you want to visit the Mona Lisa, casually drape your second-hand trench over your ZOÉ LU and then take a look at what’s happening in the courtyard, the ‘Cour Carré ‘. A little tip: on Monday, March 6 at 2 p.m., one of the biggest shows takes place here as usual. Put on your shades and enjoy.

Where can you show off the look?
We love the courtyard of the Palais Royal. Two options: either grab a sandwich to go and eat it on a park bench, or head to the terrace of Café Le Nemours. You can also make your way to the spectacularly renovated department store La Samaritaine for a green juice at Source by Joie.

Best Buddy in cream & No Excuses

Stroll through the bohemian haven of the trendy South Pigalle neighborhood in this chic look, along the narrow, chaotic little streets below Place Pigalle and the Moulin Rouge! Or wear boyfriend jeans, a neutral blazer with emphasized shoulders and cool cropped sleeves. There’s a good chance you’ll find a vintage knit sweater with puffed sleeves and a floral pattern in a small second-hand shop, which you can easily add after sunset.

Where can you show off the look?
The café and bar scene in SoPi (South Pigalle) is brilliant, between red-light relics and vegan restaurants. Mingle with the locals at the ordinary Formica café Le Mansart, or meet up for a drink at the plush luxury hotel Le Souquet. A dinner favorite is the restaurant at Hotel Amour.

Big Best Buddy in black, Back off & Très Chic in black,

As a pro, you’re out and about in the city’s Golden Triangle: the 8th arrondissement between Avenue Montaigne, Faubourg Saint-Honoré and the Grand Palais. It’s no big deal not to be invited to any shows; the biggest spectacle is on the street anyway: international influencers, street-style queens and kings gather here. The show before the show takes place at the main entrance. Perfect styling: a totally on-trend piece such as straight jeans - with a fitted turtleneck and biker leather jacket. To celebrate the day, you can break the Parisienne rule: “No high heels before aperitif hour.” Metallic sandals in edgy colors such as coral, green or cobalt blue. You can safely stow them in your big Big Best Buddy later and swap them for another pair of shoes.

Where can you show off the look?
After all the street-style excitement, you need a pick-me-up. Cross over to the Petit Palais museum and enjoy a croque monsieur in the breathtakingly beautiful courtyard of the self-service cafeteria. The neighborhood naturally also has an incredible concentration of 5-star hotels for coffee breaks. Our favorite is the Plaza Athénée.

Enjoy it, enjoy yourself:  Embrasse la vie en rose, Parisienne!
