THIS IS HOW YOU IMPREGNATE YOUR BAG BEFORE WEARING IT FOR THE FIRST TIME

1. Shake the bottle.
2. Spray on a thin layer from a distance of approximately 10-15 cm. Massage the liquid into the fibers with a lint-free cloth. Wait 2 minutes and repeat the process. Tip: For an even more effective result, repeat the process after 20 minutes and dry with a hair dryer.
3. Allow the surface to dry for 24 hours to achieve optimal effectiveness

IMPORTANT: Always test on a small area first. Do not use on metallic or coated leather, as this may damage the material!

ITALIAN LEATHER

Our bags are made exclusively from high-quality Italian leather, distinguished by its quality and unique soft feel and appearance. In addition to our classic grained leather, we offer more than 12 different types of leather. Each type of leather is produced differently and therefore requires individual care.

TREATED LEATHER

Dark colors generally do not need any additional protection. For light colors, we recommend the Friiz Protector, especially on the back of the Main Bag and on the flaps. With pre-treatment using the Friiz Protector , the leather can be cleaned relatively easily with the Friiz Cleanser if discoloration occurs.

SMOOTH LEATHER WITH METALLIC EFFECT

Please make sure that no solvents of any kind come into contact with the metallic surfaces, as they dissolve and damage the surface like paint remover, making the damage irreparable.
For the metallic effect, a film is applied to the leather using heat and pressure. Since it acts as a protective layer, metallic surfaces generally do not need any additional protection and do not need to be waterproofed. 

Suede leather

Since suede (rough leather) is more sensitive than smooth leather - especially rain, oils, and liquids can easily penetrate its velvety surface and be absorbed - we recommend using the Friiz Protector as directed for protection.

SUEDE WITH GLITTER EFFECT

Impregnation can reduce the glitter effect and make it look dull. We therefore do not necessarily recommend it. However, please note that this leather should not be worn in rain or snow.

Patent leather

Harsh rubbing or cleaning agents can damage the painted coating. If soiled, carefully wipe with a slightly damp cloth without cleaning agents. They are protected by a coating so that they do not bleed. Important: This coating can cause other materials to bleed and create discoloration that can no longer be removed. Storage: Ideally, store in white tissue paper in the box. Should not come into contact with plastic film.

PRINTED COWHIDE

We recommend impregnating the cowhide with the Friiz Protector . Important: Do not rub too vigorously and only dab lightly, otherwise the hide will become very stiff.

The most frequently asked questions

Leather is a natural product and may vary slightly in appearance and feel. Like our skin, it does not absorb colors or embossing in exactly the same way everywhere. Therefore, slight visual variations in color or pattern may occasionally occur. These irregularities are characteristic of high-quality leather.

For our changeable flaps with a snakeskin print, the snakeskin pattern is printed and embossed onto our high-quality leather. All pattern pieces are positioned on the hide to use the leather as efficiently as possible and minimize waste. Therefore, it is not possible to control how the pattern will ultimately appear on the flap - making each flap a truly unique piece.

Leather Cleaning with FRIIZ - N°2, THE CLEANSER
1. Mix N°2 The Cleanser with water in a ratio of 1:5.
2. For heavy dirt, apply the undiluted fluid to the moistened brush and treat the affected areas using circular motions.
3. Absorb the foam containing dirt (e.g. oil/grease mixtures) with a cloth, then clean/rinse the bag with clean, lukewarm water. Suitable for use at all water temperatures. Warm water increases effectiveness.
